Full Description: Naylor Bros. Paints came to Slough from Southall in 1919 and took over the former American Army base. Nobel Chemical Industries came to Slough with Naylors in 1928 and both companies were incorporated into Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) in 1928. In 1935 the division became known as I.C.I. Paints. In 2007 I.C.I. Paints were sold to Akzo-Nobel, a Dutch company, for £6.5 billion. |
