Full Description: Langley Hall now sits on the corner of Langley Road and Station Road. The hall, also known as Langley Place, dates back to the seventeenth century. During the twentieth century Langley Hall was the home for a number of organisations including The Actors' Orphanage, RAF Group Headquarters of Bomber Command and the home of the Ministry of Transport Research Department. In 1988 it became the home of Langley College, which later became part of East Berkshire College.
