Full Description: The poster advertises a concert held in the Leopold Institute & Public Hall, High Street. The concert was in aid of Belgian refugees who were forced from their homes when the Germans invaded Belgium in 1914. The Belgian invasion was the official reason why Great Britain entered the First World War.
The photograph was given to Stan Dupe and is signed by Father Clemente. |
