when the old lido closed for about a year to be rebuilt about 1960/62 on the opening day of the new pool there were about 15 or less people queing to get in at 9.00am a photograper from slough express/observer sent to capture the ocasion got us to bunch up and took a photo the picture in the paper looked like it was a far bigger ocasion me i was about 8/10yrs old
