Brief Description: The Crown Public House from the London Road. The inn dates back to the Eighteenth Century.
Subject Date: 1982
Creator: Reg Harrison
Owner: Slough Library
Contributor: Slough Library

Full Description: The Crown Public House is an 18th Century Inn with plain tiled roof and painted rendered walls. Windows appear to be as the original painted wood sliding vertical sashes. The doors open direct onto the public footpath without any forecourt. This is a reminder of the days when the amount of traffic would have been much lighter than today, and the road would not have been as wide as it is now.
